Classroom review games for any topic

Turn this week's content into a review game in about a minute — a quiz show, matching, flashcards, sorting or a crossword.

Pick a ready-made game, type a topic and let AI draft it, or enter your own questions. Then play it on the big screen or let students join from their own devices.

Pick by job

Which review game fits what you taught?

Start from what you need to check, not from the game. Each of these runs from the same topic box.

A test-prep game show

Points for speed, a leaderboard between rounds and a team mode for the whole class.

Play it your way

Three ways to run a review

Most review games run all three ways. Pick at press-play — nothing to rebuild.

On the big screen

Project the game and play it together. Students call out answers and you, or a student, tap them in. No devices, no codes.

Live on their devices

Students go to boardee.app/join on a phone, tablet or Chromebook and enter the code and a first name. No student accounts.

In their own time

Share a play link and the same game becomes self-paced revision or homework, with scores and times coming back to you.

Try it tomorrow

A 15-minute review, start to finish

One topic, three games, no extra prep — the content you enter once fills all three.

  1. 3 min

    Warm up with Flashcards

Flip through the key terms on the board as a class. Students say the answer before you turn the card.

  2. 8 min

    Team quiz

Run the Quiz in team mode on the big screen, or live on devices. The leaderboard between rounds keeps every table in it.

    Matching in their own time

Send the matching round as a play link for anyone who wants another go, and see the scores and times come back.

Keep a timer and the scoreboard on the same board, and the name picker decides who answers first.

FAQ

Good to know

Are the review games free?

Yes. Every Arcade game type is included on the free plan and you can try them with no login. Having AI write the questions uses your plan’s AI allowance; typing your own content doesn’t.

Can I use my own questions?

Yes. Every game has a plain editor — type or paste your exact word list or questions row by row. Or type a topic and let AI draft the content, then check and edit it before the class sees it.

Do students need accounts or devices?

No accounts, ever. Games can run entirely on the shared screen; when students do join from devices, they use a code and a first name.

Can one topic become several games?

Yes. The same topic box fills any Arcade game, so this week’s content can be a quiz on Monday and a matching game or crossword on Thursday.

Can I reuse a review game next lesson?

Yes. Save the game and relaunch it whenever you need it. How many games and boards you can keep depends on your plan.

How is this different from Kahoot?

Boardee’s Quiz works like a live game show, but it sits on the same board as your timer, name picker and other classroom tools, and the same content can switch to matching, sorting or a crossword. See live class quizzes without Kahoot.
